On good morning Britain today they mentioned that the EU wants to ban the use of meat names in vegetarian fake meat. I think that the EU shouldn't interfere with the manufacturing sector because making processed foods that are profitable is already very difficult, now businesses have to cross a vast river of rules and regulations. The problem is they have to do something to justify their huge incomes, so bureaucrats and technocrats make silly rules and regulations, the more rules there are, the more difficult it is to run a business because consultancy firms need to be paid to ensure they are legal and there is often a cost involved.
Many of the rules are so pointless that they are vetoed by most of the member states.
I would like to congratulate the team for winning the award. The show is fantastic, a joy to watch. The presenters are brilliant.
