On the topic of Boris Johnson, I would like to point out that the EU won't make a new deal. The EU told China where to go when they didn't except their proposals and China has the second biggest economy in the world. I think he is over confident and shouldn't make these big promises that rely of cooperation of others.
I would like to add that we are very much a divided country and I resent that. If you want to bring the UK together then you need to think outside the box. Not that I have the answer to that. Perhaps the UK needs to vote on the type of brexit we have, whether it is a clean break, transition deal, or Canada style deal with no customs union but no tariffs.
