plus net broadband

I became a Plus net customer a week ago, I'm not impressed with the product so far.

They sent the router to me through the post with a standard post, non-recorded delivery, the router went missing so they had to send me another router. When I received the router it was not set up properly so I had to call the support line and manually amend the settings on the router. During the peak time so far I find that the internet is so slow that it is more like dial-up than DSL. I can't stream videos on Netflix at certain times of the day and that is very disappointing.

I hope that the service improves soon

I am an independent customer and I am giving you a frank and fair review of the service and If you don't believe me then my Plusnet username is alspresso.

Blue planet 2

I watched blue planet 2 episode 3 on the BBC I player. The blue planet documentary is about life in the ocean. It is narrated by David Attenborough

It showed a new perspective on the way animals live. One example that surprised me was a strange alliance between octopuses and a predatory fish that live in the reef and also the way different marine species co-exist and even work together.

I won't reveal too much detail but I will point out that they made a big effort and lots of skilled high definition photography was used and some CGI.

How to decrease terrorism

I know how to decrease terrorism in the world. Terrorism starts in the mind as a seed. The seed grows from anger. A man or woman that is always filled with anger looks for something to channel their anger into and they find things on the internet or in their imagination.

They key is to remove the angry seed before it can grow. I would regulate media more so there is less Anger and violence. I would also change the street lights so they are pink and blue. Some of the street lights are pink and the others are blue. Pink and blue light are good for the mind.

I would put speakers inside street posts like lamp posts and street signs that emit the sound of a monk chanting because the sound of a monk chanting turns off angry thoughts, "ommmm, ommmmm" like that.

I would make the litigation system simpler. Complexity makes people angry. People like simple things.

There are many other things I would do but I don't have time to talk about them.

Lbc feedback sep28

Once again James O Brian has come on and tried to write off the entire Eurosceptic community as gullible sheep or racist haters. Once again LBC is painfully boring and lacking in good content.

Brexiteers are not gullible sheep, we just think that the EU is slowing down growth and development on the continent.

When will this boring rubbish be replaced with interesting debates?

Who knows?

PC madness

In today's world political correctness has gone too far.

I made a neutral video about Tommy Robinson, I made it clear that I don't support him or the EDL but they still demonetized it.  This means they blocked adverts on it.

This is all down to the actions of a person or two. This person is silly because there is nothing wrong with the video.

People have such a twisted view of the world that they think that everything that is critical is racist. Their narrow mind will cloud judgement and cause problems for other people.

Uk, Spain and the Microbe

This sounds very strange but it is true. A microbe changed the course of history in the UK. You see, in the early 1500s king Henry the 8th was Crowned king of England but he was not intended to be king. Henry had an older Brother called Arthur, when Arthur Tudor was 15 years old he was killed by a fever called English Sweating Sickness. It is not known what caused the disease but it is most likely to be a bacteria or virus, a Small microscopic lifeform that is too small to be seen with the eye.

King Henry the 8th was a very stubborn king and wanted to divorce Catherine, his wife because she didn't give birth to any male children. The church rejected his request so he changed the national religion of the united kingdom from Catholic to Protestant.

The Spanish refused to form an alliance with the English because they considered Protestants to be heretics. If you look at the bigger picture you would see that history would be very different because his older brother would be very unlikely to make the same decisions. A microbe made historical events different by killing the king of England and causing a different king to rule, a king that is considered by many to be very divisive.

Answer to James O Brian

James O Brain Says that Muslims are misrepresented and most are moderate. I'm not saying they are but the way we define terrorism is wrong.

There are places where an entire village comes out with stones to kill homosexuals. You would say they are moderate, but I would say they every person that throws a stone at the Gay man or adulteress is a terrorist because they are killing a person because of what they believe. I think that some of these presenters need to travel a bit more and look at the world properly.

I think that Tony Blair is a Terrorist because he ordered the invasion of a sovereign country and caused the death of thousands of people. The man that killed Joe Cox is a Terrorist, he is not mad, he had a political reason for killing her, he is a Terrorist!

If 1% of your population has extreme views and thinks that our way of life should be forcefully changed then I would say that 1% is too much. In Tokyo, there are no Terrorist attacks. Tokyo is bigger than London. In Beijing, there are no terrorist attacks. Look at the world properly, please

How do you define a Terrorist? if you put people in Prison for changing their religion, perhaps that is Terrorism? If you are forcing people to live a certain way then I would say that is Terrorism. Mabe, there is a blurry gradient between extreme views and Terrorism.

I am a man that has no real answers.

Alan's answer to James O Brain

Earlier in the week James O Brian asked what would be a bad deal during the Brexit negotiations.

My answer is that we already have a very bad deal right now. We have an over supply of cheap workers and there are is no pressure to raise wages with inflation so the government had to raise VAT and income tax over the years to get the same money because inflation devalues your income.

We have been ostracised from 85 % of global free trade. The profit and tax revenue from this lost trade would eclipse all the dept we have.

Goods coming in from outside the EU is restricted by quota and tariffs, this forces our manufacturing sector to be non competitive because the raw materials they use are inflated by price.

The EU common agricultural policy has deliberately inflated the price of produce, if you were wondering why a bag of oranges is more expensive than a bag of  donuts I would recommend you look up the topic.

All of the people of the EU have been robbed by this system. The Employment in the EU is the lowest of any region in the world. You are literally better off in China than the EU on average.

When you vote for an MEP you are not  choosing a cabinet and leadership together just an mep, this is not democratic so we are actually in a dictatorship union. An industrial lobbyist giving out brown envelopes have a bigger say on who is the EU president is than us, literally. If you change any system in the world where you can't directly choose your leader then the outcome would be classified as devolution from democracy. In the UK you are choosing an MP and party together and you know who the cabinet members would be also, that is real democracy. If the mps choose the leadership after you vote in private than you would be angry but this is what the EU does.

Don the Master deal maker

A lot of people are trying to write off Donald Trump but people are forgetting that he is a master deal maker and I think that he can sit down with Kim Jon Un, and cut a peace deal with them. He has already made a deal with the Chinese and got them to lift a ban on American beef. He is in effect making a good trade deal with them.

Going to war with North Korea is a bad idea because wars are wasteful and the outcome is usually mass death and destruction. In my opinion I think that Donald Trump can get a peace deal with North Korea. I don't think they are interested in war. They just want the sanctions to be lifted and the weapon hardware at the border to be scaled down a bit. All they have to do is sit down and talk things over.

What I am saying is that the media should stop trying to write off Don and let him do his job. There are still many trade and peace deals to be made in this world and the Master deal maker has already made some good progress.

A new first

I found out that Emmanuel Macron was elected by the people of France. This is the first time I felt angry about a new leader of another country. I see him as an EU and bank puppet that does deeds on their behalf. The reason they elected him was because he acted like an outsider and the opposition party was once a far right party and the french people don't believe that Marine la Pen has reformed the party into a center right one.

When I see him I feel that he is very much like Tony Blair. He thinks about the EU more than his own country and does not value his own identity as a French man. He has already showed that he is not patriotic by playing o de joy instead of French music at his victory parade. I am hopeful the Marine la Pen will come back later and try again in the near future to become president of France. The French are our neighbours and are facing similar problems to us.

Tax ax

It is my opinion that we should not punish people for working hard by taxing them more. If you tax people more then they will spend less and create less jobs. If you get less tax then you spend more and pay more VAT and people that are rich will feel less need to move away so there is very little difference.

Tax is a big topic at this time because we are close to a general election and tax always pops up. It may be the best to leave it the same. I would consolidate all tax into a flat rate universal gains tax and just find ways to save on spending. You can't keep raising tax because it would become absurd you would create a world of frivolous spending and difficulties.

Like all things in this world, there is always a level of complexity that comes with the topic and my simple answer would never complete the equation.

All I can say is that we may be able to find inspiration from other countries because they may have found the best formula.

Brexit Benefits

Brexit has started and we are leaving the EU and the common market. I have seen the benefits of this but the key is our decisions that we make from this day forward.

Firstly, we are an alternative market. If the Euro has a bad quarter or two then the global trading comanies can trade with us knowing that we have no assets or connections inside the EU, Global companies don't like to put all their eggs in one basket so they will always put aside a small investment to us, if all multinational companies do this then we will find a great benefit in total.

Secondly, we can remove some of the manufacturing regulations, this will attract companies in other countries that don't meausure up to EU standards. So we will get loads of goods that the EU blocks.

Thirdly, The European commission can't control some of our public spending so instead of sending money to the EU and getting a rebate we can control how investments are made at the ground level. So we can say no more art galleries and statues and more transport links and so forth.

Fourthly, Our global trade deals won't be a best fit compromise of 28 nations. It will be good for us only. For example. we can drop the import tarriff on medical comodities and exotic products that we need cheap and raise the import tarrif of processed foods and aicraft parts and that we export. That is good for us and bad for others, but now we are alone so no more compromise.

Fithly, we can focus on our assets now, this couintry is a very good place for generating natural energy. We have the strongest winds in Europe, and strongest tides. We have hot springs (in Bath). We have lots of  empty valleys to buid hydro electric dams  and we have lots of roads and railways to suspend solar panels above. Technology will reinvent this land.

Sixthly, If our needs change in 5 years we can change our spending and policies very quickly. If you are in a block then you can't adapt to change very fast because the tranding block needs time for negociations.

Seventhly, We are in a union already and we can form other trade unions with other nations outside the EU.Like Moroco and Algeria. They have goods to export and so do us.

the future is bright

Jessabelle on netflix

I watched the whole movie but didn't like it much. I felt like the movie led me on and was slightly boring. It is about a paralysed woman that finds herself in her family home. She sees videos left behind by her dead mum. The videos revealed that she is in trouble.
She is the harassed by angry spirits. I think it was a terrible movie and I felt that she wasn't stalked enough to bring significant suspence.

I think that Netflix should make more effort to get more interesting movies and mysteries .

Mandella effect

I wrote in my informal blog a while back that my mind was contaminated with false memories. The internet community as coined the term Mandela effect. This is the theory that memories from parallel worlds are contaminating our minds. In these parallel worlds, historical events happen differently. The Mandela effect fits my condition fairly well. Because I remember things that never happened. I remember that Mr. T and Carly Simon died but they didn't.

The thing that really got me is the kit Kat logo. I remember a small rectangle in between the kit and kat words. In this world, it was never there but my brain was contaminated with this false memory.
I wonder if the Mandela effect is an official theory or if it has another scientific term. I think the reason it is called the Mandela effect is because many people remember Nelson Mandela dying in the 80's when he actually died in 2013.

Perhaps there's a world out there like ours where princes Diana never died but people remember her having a fatal car crash in Paris.

Kung Fury (Movie)

Last night I watched a movie called Kung fury. It is both a cop and kung fu comedy film. It was very funny, the story line is crazy and the scenes are off the wall and very bizarre. It was almost like a crazy cartoon was brought to life. The fight scenes were extreme and over the top but in a very good way.  The movie was short and filled with innuendos and bad jokes but it was saturated with them so it made me laugh. There was no dull moment in the whole movie. It was a very entertaining movie to watch.

The story line was a cop that was struck by lighting and gained kung fu super powers.  He gets sent back n time to fight the kung furer (Hitler). He later teams up with Tricerecop TRex two Vikings and Thor. It is the kind of movie that you can watch twice.

The Rings (movie)

"The rings" , is a sequel of the other rings movies. It is about a professor and student that comes across a video that unleashes a witch that stalks and kills people 7 days after they have seen it.

When I watched the movie I fell asleep half way through. I'm not sure if it is because the movie is dull or because I was tired. It is a good movie but it is the same old.  There seems to be less stalking in this movie, I think that is important because  that is what horror movies are about.
A beast stalking and terrorizing people. Suspence is also important and that was also lacking in this movie.

It is a good movie but they are trying to keep an old story line alive and it doesn't work. The good thing about this movie is that it is not bad but when a story is dead it is dead.

Coldness air is a product

In the morning winter the air is cold. Is it possible that the cold air could be able used as a product. Could the cold air be pumped from outside into fridges. I often wonder. Is it just me or am I seeing a useful product for the home and for commercial use. Well we will have to see.

John Berco

John Berco tried to persuade the house of Commons to block Donald Trump's visit. That is strange to me because he didn't try to block other leaders. His job is not to try and sway the house of Commons, it is to keep the house in order like a referee.

It is like the press is controlling people's minds, even the leaders. Some of the other leaders he welcomes are much worse than Donald Trump.

The press in the UK and America are twisted, they make Donald Trump look like a Demon and  they fail to report things properly, there were floods throughout Latin America yet the press didn't report it very much in the UK.

Brexit verdict

Brexit will happen. There is three outcomes. The UK  will do well, the UK will do badly or the UK will remain the same.

I think the UK can adapt and grow as long as people step forward and make it happen. About it 200 years ago we abolished the Atlantic slave trade. Like today, many people thought it would be a disaster for the British economy. Well the opposite happened, the industrial revolution started and we became very wealthy.

Ordinary people had a better life because they could get a job. And machines out performed all the slaves and made many people rich.

When the black death plague occurred in the UK and Europe. It would have seemed like the end of the world but it was the opposite, an opportunity for the survivors to have more say about how and when they worked and allowed them to live in more comfort.

I remain optimistic that a post Brexit breakthrough will bring a brexit boom and wealth to the people.

Japanese nuclear plant

The Japanese nuclear power station Fukoshima is still leaking radioactive waste. The only way the problem can be fixed is with Robots.

An army of Robots are needed that can collect the the waste material.

I think that depleted Uranium is very heavy. If it was placed in a Lava lake then it would sink deep into the Earth's crust and possibly pass into the mantle.

Nintendo Switch

The Nintendo switch will be released on the 3rd of march. It will be special because it will be both a handheld and TV console, it will have all the Nintendo games we all love and will have HD vibration to take portable gaming to the next level.

You will be able to play the switch in 3 different ways. 1, In TV mode, 2, In desktop mode and 3 in hand-held mode.
The Nintendo Switch should make multiplayer gaming more fun. I feel concerned that some of the features of the Nintendo Switch could be achieved with phones already. You can get Bluetooth controllers for phones and tablets, Chromecast can be used to mirror the phone on a TV screen. It is an excellent gadget to have and I look forward to seeing it in action.

Uk and Trump

I think it would be a bad idea to block Donald Trump's visit to the UK because his visit is beneficial to us. We allow other leaders to visit us that do things that are equally nasty.

If we block Donald trump, then we should block other world leaders that do things we disagree with. They will come with good deals and plans that are beneficial to both of us, but no because we are taking the moral high ground.

This is not good.

Is Abortion a crime

Abortion is the deliberate termination of a pregnancy leading the death of the unborn baby.
I think there are different stages of abortion. If you abort the child before it becomes a fetus then you are aborting nonsentient issue. It would be the same as removing an appendix I think.
If you abort a child when it is a fetus then you have to wonder when it is a sentient being. If the fetus is thinking then you could be killing a person.
The best thing to do is no get pregnant if you are not ready.

Get over it

Donald Trump is unpopular with some people. But he was elected democratically. People are trying to stop him from becoming president. If they succeed then they will undermine democracy. It will be like a military coop, but with civilians.

If you hate Donald trump then just wait 4 years and vote for someone else, that is the best thing to do. Smashing up dustbins will be a waste of time, There are many times when I vote for someone and I don't get the result I want.

Let go of this outcome that you don't like and concentrate on your own life, 3 and a half years will go by in the blink of an eye, Then you can draw attention to delegate that you want to lead you.

I wish everyone peace and prosperity.

45th American president

Today Donald John Trump has become the 45th American president.  He gave a clear speech and seemed like he had a plan.

He looked like he was planning to revive the industrial sector and also to tighten on immigration. He has been involved in politics for quite so time so it is no surprise that he would work in the political sector.

What I don't understand is why he wanted to build a wall across the Mexican Border because almost all Americans are immigrants, a few more won't hurt them I'm sure.

I admire that he didn't change his tone when he was elected. He still wants to do the same thing. I don't know if it is possible to do everything he said he would do but we will see.

I have  high hopes for them and the rest of the world.

Mario Golf World Tour

Mario Golf world tour on the 3DS is a brilliant game. When most people see Golf games they think Yawn. But this is different. It is really fun to play and interesting because you unlock so many things. You get to play as your Mii and play against other people around the world.

The graphics are 3d cartoon like and resemble those of Mario 3D world and Mario Galaxy. It is a very fun game to play. As you get better at the game you unlock more and more levels and Itinerary. You earn pretend money when you play and can use the pretend money to buy new things  like hats and new clubs. Because you  can play online against other people the fun will never end because you know you are playing against a real sentient being and not just a computer. You won't regret buying this Game. I have had it for 6 months now and still love playing it.

The Firstling on Netflix

The Firstling movie is a Ghost Revenge movie. An angry Ghost attacks a man's wife and threatens to make her miscarry her baby because of what her husband did to her. The wife discovers her husband and his brother are nasty scum bags and flees. She then gets stuck between and angry Ghost and an evil husband. I won't spoil the ending but it is very tense.

I think that the acting in this movie is very real and very well executed. There are no loose ends in the storyline and I think it is a good movie. The best part of the movie for me is the mystery because I love mysteries.

TU clothing at Argos

Argos has recently gone up-class with their clothing. You can now have high-quality and low-priced clothes from Sainsbury's at Argos. In my opinion, Sainsbury's TU clothing is better than Debenhams but it costs a lot less. They feel very comfortable and are well made but the prices are similar to Matalan, Also you can see the clothes in Sainsbury's Stores and buy them at Argos when it is convenient to you.

So go to Argos.co.uk and have a look, judge it for yourself.

Lake placid vs Anaconda

There is a movie on Netflix called lake placid vs Anaconda. I thought that the movie was ok but the acting didn't represent real people. They were too quick to recover from seeing a distressing sight and seemed very robotic. I would say they looked like they were reading a script.

I also thought that the science didn't make sense. The DNA modifications took hold too quickly. They injected the DNA into the cells and the creatures changed within minutes. It takes days and weeks for DNA alterations to take effect. This to me was just nonsense.

Perhaps this movie is more suited to younger people.

The Grudge 3

I watched the Grudge 3 on Netflix. I thought It was very tense but not as frightening as the first one. It is a ghost movie about a curse brought on by rage and murder. The curse spreads and it stalks anyone that comes into contact with it. People that are stalked are followed by a young boy or woman ghost. I felt the ending was a bit grim and there was not very much suspense.

The good side is that you get to learn more about the Ghost curse and why it is there. I can't say much more about it than that.
