LED Frenzy

Light Emitting Diodes have been around for a long time but now more powerful LEDs have been created, light bulbs are made with these LEDs inside them. The LEDs are so powerful that they shine brightly at over 800 lumens yet they use around 10 watts of power.

LEDs use less power than incandescent bulbs and compact florescent bulbs yet produce the same light. Now even LED tube lights have been made with their own special starters.

Even LED light bulbs give off a small amount of heat so they are not 100% efficient. They don't turn all of the electricity that enters them into light, this means there is still room for improvement and I hope that in the near future a more efficient family of lighting systems are created that turn all of the electricity into light with no heat produced.

Thanks to the new advances in technology we get more light for less power. The sodium street lights are also being replaced by LED light systems and bright low powered lights are everywhere.

More floods in north England

The North of England is still being flooded even after my end of year review. Part of the reason is that there is no frost in England.

The frost would force the heavy rain to fall as snow instead of rain. The snow would not be free to flow into the rivers but stay in place where it falls, then  the snow would slowly melt over 5 days and flow harmlessly away.

Yet the strong winds are still pushing the heavy clouds deep into the country and causing heavy rain.

Review of 2015

The year 2015 was quite an interesting year. Unfortunately there is still conflict and civil war in the middle east as there was last year, most of the conflict resided in Syria and Iraq.  Many aircraft were crashed this year also and some of the crashes weren't accidents.

Millions of People were displaced by the conflict and forced to flee to nearby Europe. The Europeans did not know how to help the refugees with their limited resources and did not show much compassion to them.

The weather throughout the planet was very strange. Here in England the winter was almost completely free of frost. Storms battered coasts worldwide more than ever before. Villages and Towns in the North of England were flooded, mostly in Cumbria. Villages in the south of England was also flooded in Dorset county, mostly in Summerset. Parts of Scotland were also flooded.

Back in March I published an e-book and wrote a large chunk of my second e- book this year. In march I also took on a new hobby of blogging and have taken to it like a storm.
I also invested in a franchise that made a very small profit but showed potential to grow.

Friendship changed a lot in my life and in the world, I gained many friends in social media and also made some real friends and made more time for eating out and socialising. Europe & America showed some friendship to Russia and Russia showed friendship to the west and we are working together in conflict and science and hope to have a lasting friendship.

Science changed a lot this year. Private companies like space x started testing a  more advanced family of spaceships and NASA discovered that there is methane given off by the planet Mars, a possible sign of life. Medicine changed more than before with face and arm transplants and many cures.

I made a commitment to be grateful for everything in this world and I'm my life. I did this with my thoughts and with writing in my blogs and on paper. My positive roll didn't stop there, I also joined a Gym and tried and improve my health and stay active outside of work.

In the summer of this year I agreed to marry my girlfriend and officially proposed to her in the winter.

The year ahead is unknown but we must hope for the best and never give up on our dreams.

Now, 2016 has nearly arrived..

To be Continued.

Corporate tax evasion

Corporations around the world are using loopholes to evade paying corporation tax to  governments. They are taking money from the community and keeping their contribution away the states.

My solution to the problem is very simple, I would publish a report of all public limited companies or corporations and compare their share prices to their tax contributions. I would then give them a fair trade score.

A fair trade score would work like this...If a company pretends to be struggling to the tax man then their shares should be very cheap, perhaps only £30 each. If a company pretends to just break even and sells their shares for £400 each, then you could give that company a low fair trade score because someone is being deceived either the consumer or the share holder or the tax centre.

The fair trade scores of each company could be published on an app and webpage that could be checked by consumers and influence where they spend their money. This would make fair trade a competitive incentive.

Michael Adebolanjo, My verdict

One of the murderers of Lee Rigby is trying to sue the prison he is in because his front teeth were knocked out during a transfer.

Well, why don't all the staff he assaulted during the last 2 years counter sue him for all the injuries he inflicted. He doesn't deserve a penny from the tax payer and he is nothing but pond scum.

If I had my way I would put him in a metal box 2 metres by 2 metres by 2 metres and weld it shut and leave a hole for him to poo and piss out of and tiny hole for food and water to enter and let him stay in there until he dies. For all I care he can die in a tiny metal box.

I don't have any sympathy for him, he lost 2 teeth but a man lost a head because of him and his parents lost a son and his kid lost a father and his wife lost a spouse. I think the court should throw the case back in his face and knock out a few more teeth.

I feel like Michel is stealing from me because I pay 20% VAT tax on most things I purchase and I pay income tax and I pay fuel tax at 60% the value of the fuel.  I feel like some of that money is paying for a piece of shit of a man to try and get more money.

He has no excuses for murdering that man. I don't care if the spaghetti monster told him or what ever he is a murderer, end of.

Coach Ostracism

Earlier this week a man was kicked off a coach because he was a Muslim and his appearance made passengers feel uncomfortable.

The treatment of this man was unfair because he did nothing wrong. He was forced to leave the coach because of his appearance. The man did not resist the driver's request and calmly left the coach, he showed the driver and the passengers that he was the better man.

I hope that he will pursue a legal remedy and force the coach company to pay for their mistreatment.

I feel that the camera is a very useful tool to have and perhaps everyone should wear a concealed camera in their clothing to capture civil mistreatment to build up a strong court case and also to exploit the bad situation and turn it into an opportunity.

Cross rail

The cross rail project is very impressive. You will be able to get a train fro reading through Heathrow and across London but I have an issue...

Other infrastructure has been forgotten. Cross rail does not go to Gatwick airport or Epson or any important areas south of the themes apart from Woolwich. This is very strange. It is like it was only built to relieve congestion on the existing network and not to get more people onto trains.

Well

Ether way it is a step in the right direction, it will be interesting to see what the trains look like when it is all finished.

Plane stupid protests

Today the entrance tunnel for Heathrow airport was blocked up by protesters using a van because they don't want a third runway at Heathrow airport because they are worried about climate change. Hundreds or even thousands of people were missing their flights.

I have two issues with this,

Firstly there is no evidence that adding a third runway will effect the environment. The number of planes that exist in the world are the same. If there are 20,000 air planes flying now there will still be 20,000 air planes flying if the 3rd runway is built. Would a third runway not help the environment because there would be less planes loitering in the sky. It is the same logic with the motorways; Protestors tried to stop the motorways being built but the motorways help the environment because they allow large volumes of cars to stay in 5th gear. If the motorways were not there then all those cars would drive from city to city in lower gears and burn more fuel.

Secondly, many people are going to miss their flights and those people will need to pay for another flight. The protestors  are making other people suffer because of their concerns. This is not fair because some of those people don't have much money and may need to stay in a hotel until the next flight if it is to a remote place.

Boris bike road

Some people seem to like the Boris bike road and others seem to hate it.

I never used it so I don't know..

If I designed a bike road it would be a little bit different .

I would have a raised platform built over the foot path for the cyclists to ride on with a small ramp at the end of the street for the cyclists to enter it...

And

The raised platform would have a cover over it to protect the cyclists from the elements. The material of the cycle road would be a translucent plastic so it allows brightness in and keeps wind and rain of the pedestrians and cyclists heads.

Stabbing, my solution

My solution to young men stabbing or shooting other men is hospital Baby Scanners. Baby scanners  emit high frequency sound waves that bounce off the body of the unborn baby to reveal the baby on a screen.

If you could make a similar machine but modify the frequency of the sound waves so they travel through the air and human body but bounce off hard objects like guns and knives then concealed weapons  would become visible. You would then see all people that are carrying a knife or gun walking down a street. Software could be running behind the sound camera system that would recognise a weapon and raise a flag to arrest the person with a concealed weapon. Sound waves are harmless so they can be used freely in public places like streets and park entrances.

Could the solution be as simple as that. Is it possible that modifying an existing technology solve our civilian weapon problem?

Smart metres

I have seen a smart metre in action, the device actually tells you how much power you are using all the time and it tells you how many killos of CO2 gas is being released to power your home every hour. And it tells you in real time how much money is being used to power your house.

By turning different devices on and off you can see how much power they are actually using by looking at the change in power usage.

The metre has 2 parts a wireless display unit and a smart box that automatically sends a metre reading to power company. The wireless display unit can be placed anywhere in the home.

The thing that uses the most power is still the light bulb because it stays on for a long time despite there being super bright LED lights that only use 10 watts. You can have a 2500 watt kettle on for 2 minutes and that would cost about one pence.

I am very pleased that we are switching to LED bulbs because they last a very long time and use half the power of a normal light bulb

HIV virus

The HIV virus is a virus that infects the immune cells and destroys them leaving the infected person with little or no immune system.

Like all viruses the aids virus does not absorb anything and is a lifeless dormant particle when it is outside of the victim cell. Therefore it is impossible to poison it with antibiotics.

The virus is only alive and reproductive when it reaches the nucleus of the host cell. It is created by the host cell. Everything that the virus does is powered by the body and tissues.

It is chilling to think that the virus exploits the body in so many ways. It is moves around because the bodies fluids push it and it is made by the host cell's nucleus. The virus never uses any energy and doesn't even use power to duplicate itself.

Will bombing work

No,

Bombing does not work. Need to make robots that assassinate the bad guys and leave the civilians unharmed. Simples.
